pidgin-sipe-dbg software package provides Pidgin plugin for MS Office Communicator and MS Lync (debug symbols), you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install pidgin-sipe-dbg
pidgin-sipe-dbg is installed in your system.
Make ensure the pidgin-sipe-dbg package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep pidgin-sipe-dbg *
You will get with pidgin-sipe-dbg package name, version, architecture and description in a table
